Deflicker

Deflicker

Unwanted brightness fluctuations, or Ficker, are common to hand-cranked archived films, but also to modern high frame rate recordings, when the light bulbs are out of sync with the recording framerate. Flicker is often a localised process, affecting only parts of the picture.
